Kendrick Lamar lidera las nominaciones de los premios BET junto a Drake y J. Cole
El de Compton continúa su vertiginoso ascenso al estrellato con 14 nominaciones en los BET Awards seguido de Drake y J. Cole
Kendrick Lamar puede que no sea el rey de Nueva York (aunque esto depende de a quién le preguntes), pero lo que está sí está claro es que es el rey de los BET Hip-Hop Awards de este año.
Kendrick se anotó la friolera de 14 nominaciones, incluyendo la de letrista del año, MVP del año y álbum del año con su disco debut, «good kid, m.A.A.d city«. «Es un privilegio ser parte de esto. BET siempre reconoce mi talento y eso siempre ha sido un honor», declaraba el propio artista. Aunque Lamar deberá vigilar sus espaldas, ya que le siguen Drake con 13 nominaciones y J. Cole con 10.
Dentro del álbum del año, aparte de Kendrick, los nominados son Jay-Z con «Magna Carta Holy Grail«, Nas con «Life Is Good«, Wale con «The Gifted» y J. Cole con «Born Sinner«.
Snoop Dogg será el presentador de la gala de este año que será grabada el 28 de septiembre desde Atlanta en el Civic Center y emitida el próximo 15 de octubre.
